Everyone loves a little foal and Miniature foals are particularly adorable. But are you ready for the challenges a foal will bring to your life? We pride ourselves in raising well adjusted young ones. They will be handled and cuddled daily and have basic training such as wearing a halter, being led around the paddock and on roads safely, loading and travelling, picking up all four feet and being used to the farrier. However, they are still babies and will need consistent training throughout their first three years.

Weaning
Their new family will need to wait to bring them home until they’re are fully weaned from their mother, are happy living with other youngsters and eat hard food regularly. This usually happens when the foal is six months old. By then they will have their fluffy winter coat.
